15-Day Return Policy
Eligibility & General Conditions
Whitehorse Eastern Group Sales PTY LTD offers a 15-day return policy on eligible vehicles and machinery, subject to the terms outlined below:
- Full Refund: Buyers may receive a 100% refund of the purchase price, excluding non-refundable charges such as administration, processing, taxes, transport, reconditioning, or similar costs.
- Refund Cap: Refund amounts are limited to a maximum of 104% of the applicable Hour Meter Wholesale National Average Price at the time of sale.
- Eligible Purchasers: This policy applies only to private buyers and licensed dealers within Australia purchasing vehicles or machinery located in Australia.
Eligible Vehicles & Machinery
To qualify for a return, the vehicle or machinery must meet the following criteria:
- Structural Condition: The unit must show no evidence of structural damage.
- Minimum Purchase Amount: Sale price must be equal to or greater than $1,000 AUD.
- Weight Requirement: For machinery, the minimum Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) is 1,000 kg.
- Included Categories: This policy applies to, but is not limited to:
- Agricultural and earthmoving equipment
- Commercial and industrial vehicles
- Off-road machinery, forklifts, and ATVs
- Medium- and heavy-duty trucks
- Trailers and transport-related units
- Sale Condition: Units sold on an “As Is” basis remain eligible provided all other requirements are satisfied.
Return Terms & Conditions
Return Period & Usage Limits
The 15-day return window begins from the date the unit is delivered to the buyer. A return will no longer be accepted if any of the following thresholds are exceeded:
- Over 20 operating hours, or
- In excess of 200 kilometres of use.
Return Initiation
To start a return request, buyers must contact our sales or support team within 15 days of delivery. Our staff will verify eligibility and provide detailed return instructions.
Transport & Inspection
Return Transport: All return logistics are coordinated by Whitehorse Eastern Group Sales PTY LTD using authorised transport providers. Inspection: Returned units must be received in their original condition, without unauthorised modifications or damage. Restocking & Repair Fees: Fees may apply if inspection identifies damage, excessive wear, or alterations beyond normal operating use.
Refund Handling
Following inspection and approval, refunds will be issued to the original payment method, less any applicable service, repair, or restocking charges.
Policy Exclusions
This return policy applies solely to pre-owned vehicles and machinery. New or unused equipment is excluded from this policy.
Applicable Law
This Return Policy is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia. Any disputes arising in relation to this policy fall under Australian jurisdiction.
